  6. The Chief has got a post removed, so be barred from this blog. He can not help himself from trying to cause bother within his club team and the zone. He should be sent back down the road to the cirus known as the north west zone. He would bea top preformer as a clown.

  7. URE HAVING A LAUGH, THE CIRCUS HAS ENOUGH CLOWNS.

  8. hope nw meet foyle in plate as talking will be done on the mat

  14. Guys just let it lie, lets talk about the team and the possibility of us reaching the final

    ReplyDelete
  15. it was only a bit of slagging. come on foyle we have got to make the final....players good enough to beat any team

    ReplyDelete
  16. to beat any team, lol lol lol, keep talking a good game,be all the sweeter when oriel or nw stuff you in final

    ReplyDelete
  17. Lads be honest, Foyle are a poor team and all this talk about the shield, you've beat Meath, the worst zone team in Ireland and now you're goin to Cork (hardly a good team). If you manage to get past them, you will be destroyed by either NW or Oriel but I hope you can give them a game.
Id even put my money on Cork though.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Win or loose next week not one of the foyle team would swap thefeeling of belonging for the cold dark crap from down the road where youcant even go to the loo

  20. I know 3 nw prisioners who would love to be back on foyle instead of playing in a Zone on a downward spiral like nw with a petulant child as a figure head

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lads you all should know better;never assume anything or think you just have to turn up.

Cork may not be a great side,Foyle not that great either to be honest.advice would not to under-estimate your apponents. Good Luck to both sides on the day.

Try not to loud mouth anymore before the semi,be confident, yes but just because you've got lucky with the draw don't assume you are in the final....

    ReplyDelete
  22. Lisa should not be a zone convenor! Not allowing team to leave hall is beyond a joke. No point arguing on this. Foyle lets just concentrate on next game and we no we have th ability to progress to final

  24. disagree with above post reguarding june. june has always had foyle zone and its players as her priority and has been as fair a convenor that has passed before her. if above postee thinks they can do better then i'll look forward to their name being put forward at next agm for election of said position. but somehow i think a stomach problem will prevent that. NO GUTS

    ReplyDelete
  25. Even if oriel don't show they ate still favourites and having a schoolgirl as convenor is a joke final will be oriel foyle

    ReplyDelete
  26. Foyle are the real deal and given a bit of time to he'll we will be hard to beat , we already have what nw can't and never will have and that is team spirit, nw slabber about this and that but they are just hiding the fact that they are now the laughing stock of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well done to the two pensioners today Terence and Pat rest up for saturday now chaps. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  28. THE ONLY THING FOR FOYLE TO LOOKFORWARD TO IS THE BUS ride to CORK because you cant won a game with 4 good players

    ReplyDelete
  29. that many good players lol hoo are they

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah true we only have 4 good players.... but we have 20 excellent players too! lol

    ReplyDelete
  31. yee ha well said !!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. 4 good players !!! that's twice as many as i think yous have

    ReplyDelete
  33. thankyou so you think foyle have 22 excellent players

    ReplyDelete
  34. thats all we need. 2 is plenty. everyone else...have a break..have a kitkat!

    ReplyDelete
  35. have break next weekend cause you will have plenty of time cause you will be out foyle

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oriel are thinking of sending there ladies up to play the RUGBY CLUB ZONE next year because they dont want to embarass them to much.
NW are a joke now when you look at their side. COME ON FOYLE
YOU HAVE BEEN ASKING ABOUT GOOD PLAYERS, ONE PLAYER FOR FOYLE HAS MORE CAPS THAN ALL COMBINED AT THE RUGBY CLUB ZONE.

    ReplyDelete
  37. lads enjoy cork because your cork will be well popped when oriel or nw get you loy in final.
look at your zone record, winners once and we all know who was master mind behind that success.how did you fair out when you went to england that year.tut tut

    ReplyDelete
  38. p off back to your own blog or forum saddo

    ReplyDelete
  39. oh the truth hit hard.great post.2 above.go on foyle make it to final and give us a bye.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Sure Foyle will give you a bye...in fact we'll give you two....Bye Bye Oriel!

    ReplyDelete
  41. YEE HAA..... COME ON FOYLE THE BEST THERE IS WE ARE A REAL TEAM WHO PLAY AS A TEAM AND ACT LIKE A TEAM.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Fair play to yee ,Kevin

    ReplyDelete
  43. kevin you wont get past nw and we will beat nw in final so think of what we would do to you in final

    ReplyDelete
  44. kevin if you are so feckin invincible what the hell you doin in the shield

    ReplyDelete
  45. There must be two Kevin Conroys in this bowling scene or else like every other blog site some twat is posting under other peoples name for pleasure. I was never on this site before and the only reason i found out about it is because a certain person said my name was mentioned in it not knowing someone was posting as me.
I do not underestimate NW i think it will be alot tighter than people expect, we also are missing players and have changed venue but we expect a tight match. I would expect Foyle to get to the final but with Oriel or NW with home advantage in the final it could prove crucial as to who lifts the plate.
And as for the 1 who is psoting my name, catch a grip you tit!!!

    The real Kevin Conroy

    ReplyDelete
  46. Itill be a toss of a coin Kevin to see who plays at home in the shield final.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Why are north west even on our forum. Note the name being foyle zone! this is meant to be to discuss bowls not all this putting people down and putting peoples names to posts when it isnt even that person writting comments. Sad people hi!

    ReplyDelete
  48. its a blog you fool, people can post.ask mark beattie,if rules are broke mark would take them off.let nw say what they want, the more they say the more it will hurt when we beat them in final

    ReplyDelete
  49. kevin no matter who we play we will win, foyle will be walk in the park for us.nw will be good game but we will beat them, final will b a bye.

    ReplyDelete
  50. why would you want to combine any of foyles players with nw it would only weaken us nobody from foyle good enough to play for nw lol

    ReplyDelete
  51. Looking forward to Cork we have the lads to reach the final but people need to stay focused underdogs do win games too !!!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. mal u may beat cork but you may as well as well stay at home in final,,,,,,,,stick to talking and putin on silly posts

  54. A short and final message to above post i am not going to get involved in a slanging match with you, underdogs do win games it's not just a matter turning up. If you are in the Boomer or shield good on you have a good game. For your information Putin is the Prime Minister of Russia. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  55. focus on the game guys. Its all on the day who performs best. Think uses should take a woman's advice lol

    ReplyDelete
  56. we have the team to won the plate bring on nw or oriel we fear no 1.but they have beat cork 1st its going be a tough game its all on the day.

    ReplyDelete
  57. cork will be a harder challenge than many people think after all they did travel to northern in last game and win 3 rinks so be careful and never underestimate your challenge, no doubt foyle start as favourites but will look silly if they lose after all the talk that has went on here

    ReplyDelete
  58. well said yardon hes just a stirrer ignore him

    ReplyDelete
  59. "Looking forward to Cork we have the lads to reach the final but people need to stay focused underdogs do win games too !!!! "

  60. Posts have been removed due to some sad individual posting under Kevin Conroys name. Kevin is a well respected and top player, can whoever is doing this please refrain from doing so. All future posts by anyone posting under kevins name will be removed (unless I hear from the man himself)

  61. Yardon just hope that you can count the number of bowls remaining in a match on Saturday, considering last night you threw away your point to The Chief. That 1/2 point lost could be costly at the end of the season. Good luck to you all on Sturday and hope the journey down on Friday is not too long with The Chief and The Butcher discussing last nights result....The Vale Crew......

    ReplyDelete
  62. oh mal tut tut, good old chief.half point could be crucial.be big game when vale meet rugby.

    ReplyDelete
  63. mark i think all posts slagging people on here should be taken off.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Counting was never my strong point, just hope it's not to costly all in all it was still a very good result for the vale, still a lot to play for the team are playing well at the minute just hope we can keep it going. The journey on saturday will be a little bit quieter for a couple of reasons lol.Goodluck to all playing on saturday.

    ReplyDelete
  65. mal u should take homers name,suits u better.
    doh,the vale crew

  69. Well Done Donegal in reaching final of main comp!

Well done to both North West and Foyle!!

Interesting final, no doubt about it NW draw to reach final was more difficult than Foyle's draw, but both teams in with a chance now.

    Good Luck to you all..

    ReplyDelete
  70. "Lisa should not be a zone convenor! Not allowing team to leave hall is beyond a joke".

The biggest joke was the blog that was set up by Forever Blue, they came on all apologetic, after of course when they got what they were looking for.
Most probably sh**ting themselves in case of legalities. tried reeling her in at the start thinking he could pick the team from outside of the comittee, then resorted to those tactics.

Funny how some of Lisa's so called friends from NW have still to comment on the Vile blog topic, in her defence. not one of that click, who normally have their OPINION known.

    GOOD LUCK LISA ..

    ReplyDelete
  71. Well done Foyle, changes to the team this year have worked out well for you.

    Northern V Donegal
    Foyle V North West

    Good Luck everyone..

    ReplyDelete
  72. Well done to all the local zones, pity Foyle have to play North West in the shield final, they will have to be at their best to even get close to North WEST. North West by double figures at least.. North West to win but plate competitions in Lisa's first year.

    Wassa

  73. what a predicament,mr foyle playing aganist foyle.yes danny ward playing for northwest in final.ward had a great game today from reports.
which foyle rink will draw ward in final.
sorry lads wont happen, word is ward has told lisa and selectors he wont turn out aganist foyle.my opinion can understand his decision.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yassssss C'mon the North West!!!!

What a performance lads! This result should silence them vile critics! Well Done Lisa

    ReplyDelete
  75. Foyle's 2 ex-skips again turning in a great display today, Ward by all accounts fantastic against Michael Hand of Oriel, and Curran from 7-1 down drawing the game against Marty Trainer.

    ReplyDelete
  76. stand back and take a pat on the back LISA am so pleased for you and your two teams

    ReplyDelete

  79. yea foyle zone honestly couldnt care less about the nw!!! so go and write where somecares cares!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. foyle well done in cork from what i hear a great team effort and a good two days had by all.
I think its June who should be getting a pat on the back. For sorting out a great hotel and everything going so well in Cork.

good luck in the final let us keep our pride and not lower ourselves like nw......

folks this is a blog, its name is foyle blog but anyone can post.grow up and catch yourselves on.
you say we should not lower ourselves to nw standards.im sure some of you posted in northwest blog as i did.
just for record it was concerning footmat incident not lisa which was a disgrace what people wrote.well done lisa i think you shut up your critics.
now back to bowls foyle v nw,all i can say is bring on WARD AND CO,should be great final.
a foyle player who had great two days in cork

    ReplyDelete
  82. northwest player30 January 2011 at 15:45

    true post above.
as for ward and co you say bring them on,im sure your rink wont wana play ward in final.
he will play in final as he is a team player and wont let team down, his attitude was superb yesterday and played some big bowls and skiped really well after 2burnt ends with 2ends played.cut him now and i bet he bleeds blue

    ReplyDelete
  83. Breaking news from the North West Zone;

Danny Ward has bow to Ryan O'Neill and now will be playing against the Foyle Zone.

This is great for both zones on reaching the final, the crap that will be put on this blog referring to the final will not apply to the teams as so many friends will be playing against eachother, this promises to be a good match and the North West will welcome their friends to Limavady and look forward to what should be an excellent game of bowls.

    ReplyDelete
  84. well done June, your selection worked well with few changes this year. June never gets any praise, think we should support our convenor. It will be tough game in the final. Come on foyle we can do it. We will need supporters to come cheer us on!

    ReplyDelete
  85. yes well done to june, selectors and team.
    great final ahead

    ReplyDelete
  86. What??????????

Everyone knows that Peter Eakin pullls all the strings in the Foyle mens team.....

Wise up and congrats to Peter.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Well done to Foyle at the weekend great team effort. Also the support was fantastic.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Congrats to all my team mates and suporters who came along yesterday and to June and the selectors, great team performance all round with everyone doing their bit to get us over the line, i am very proud to be amongst the numbers. The team spirit yesterday was immense, i am looking forward to the final with nw and i know that it will be a good one, cant wait

    ReplyDelete
  89. Well played yesterday Foyle. The team spirit on the side yesterday was fantastic with 24 players playing each bowl thrown. Each and every man played with a lot of heart and dug deep when we needed to fight back. Special mention to the supporters who were like a 25th man. looking foward to the final.

    ReplyDelete
  90. The final will be a chance to see how far foyle have came this season. It should be a good game.

There are current players on the north west team that placed a blog up and knew it would be used to attack Lisa, now they have taken it down. Too late i say and when these players are identified the whole nw will be suprised or will they.

They talk with the drink and are running scared of being found out. Remember you helped Lisa, then devised the blog to heighten the tension after the four players were dropped and are now denying all knowledge of the ownership. You and i know who you are.

The owner of the blog is well respected, but his current position would mortify his fellow comrades. The lengths that these people have gone to get up the blog and are now looking over their shoulder considering all the posts have been saved and are now possibly going for a legal challenge to gain email access used to open the blog. Shame on you.

Good luck to foyle in the final but i think nw will just be to strong for you.

    ReplyDelete
  91. as a zone player for northwest who has played every game so far i would be really shocked if some of our player were in volved in northwest zonegate.
maybe your just trying to split northwest team i dont really know.
if you are trying to split team you have no chance,we have fantastic team players and to be honest we have best team player foyle has ever had in mr foyle himself danny ward.
all eyes will be on danny to see how he plays aganist foyle in final if he plays at all.he will be judged on every bowl he plays good or bad, good bowl nw will cheer, bad bowl and nw will say is he trying, would not like to be in his position.
as for final i think nw will be too strong for foyle but foyle will have as good a chance as its on the day, just look at nw result aganist oriel,nw were underdogs and on the day were just too good.
so i look forward to a good final and good days craic

    ReplyDelete
  92. This is going to be a laugh from now until the final...

Reading all the foyle posts about beating the north west....

Am not sure if it will be bowls or cricket...

The only foyle player that can not lose is the Chief as the Horse is wearing his blue top...

    ReplyDelete
  93. horse must be big lad lol

    ReplyDelete
  94. Would the Horse have the Chiefs boxer shorts as well ?

    ReplyDelete
  95. naw there's a homeless man in meath using them as a tent!!

    ReplyDelete
  96. the horse is using it to hold his shinny blue bowls. lol

    ReplyDelete
  97. must be using very big bowls are does he carry all the teams bowls lol

    ReplyDelete
  98. The chief has already been told that when the fella lifted the chiefs boxers out off the bag the wind caught them, he was last seen taking pictures over the Himalayas

    ReplyDelete
  99. I have no doubt foyle will go into the game as underdogs but that will not worry us,team are playing with good spirit and enjoyoing playing together,i know a lot of crap will be wrote but the both teams have alot of respect for eachother and know the game will be played in good spirit.
June gets alot of stick on this blog but being convenor is not just about picking the teams, she did a great job organising the weekend in cork and the players appreiched that. All the foyle players know that it is Peter,Mark and jonnie that pick the team and they have got a bit of stick but they have stuck with the team and built great team spirit that has been missing in the past.Looking forward to the final should be a good game.

    ReplyDelete
  100. northwest team picked lastnite, one rink for northwest is foyle tru and tru.
    LEAD GERRY BARR,
    SECOND COLUM CURRAN,
    THIRD PETER LYNCH,
    SKIP DANNY WARD.

surprise surprise, this will be interesting.word is put four together as to get danny to play. think danny will be cert to play now as he wont let three team mates down.great decision by selectors.go on the west

game should be treated in right spirit and played in right spirit and i beleive it will be played in right spirit

    ReplyDelete
  103. One thing i'll say for foyle is atleast our teams not falling apart at the seems, how may walkouts from north west this year, not just players going to foyle but some returning also to northern and then northwest dropping four of their own and then three more dropping out.North west team spirit dont make me laugh please.

  105. on the 19th of feb we will see who plays and who wont,we will see who walks away and who wont
ONE THING I DO KNOW IS CANT SEE LISA NOT HAVING WARD PLAYING.since ward has been a northwest player danny and lisa have great respect for each other.people can asume all they want but only time will tell.goodluck foyle but i think northwest will be too strong for you.looking forward to a good game and GREAT ATMOSPHERE

    ReplyDelete
  106. Danny has respect for Lisa and will play in the final no doubt about that but if you dig deep enough you would ask does he feel at home in nw i doubt it.

  114. Why all the slabbering ? make no mistake all the Foyle team know that we are not expected to win this game so i ask why all the bad mouthing there are a lot of friends on both teams and it is not an easy situation but the game will go on and i know that Danny will play and he will be a force but he is still Foyle through and through, just ask him, but most of all he is a team player and he will not let nw down on the day, he will prove his point to 1 person only and to say that he is not Foyle then can anyone tell me why he was at the Foyle finals last week?Do you think he would do that at nw, i dont think so, i will look forward to the game and i hope that it will be just that, a game and not reduced to a bragging competition.

  115. Good result for foyle on sat,i hear a good team effort, does anyone have the scores of the rinks, first half and second half, just heard it got tight at 1 stage.

  116. Donegal Demolition Job1 February 2011 at 12:20

20:39, I think Donegal have proven this year that the semifinal demolition of NW wasn't because NW only thought they had to turn up - it was because Donegal were just too good. Bring on the Boomer final, and hopefully we can beat Northern to lift it for the 1st time in our history.

    ReplyDelete
  117. why all the talk about danny.do you think danny needs the pressure with the situation he is in. as a player danny has done it all and i beleive dermott mc carron, mark beattie, gerry barr, ryan oneill, leigh harrison, peter lynch, nishy louge are all good players but will never have the profile danny ward has in bowls.just look at the blogs on here, his name is on everyone.
as for the game i sincerely hope danny does play as it is his type of stage.i no for fact foyle players has asked danny to play in final.
just wish the name calling would stop as it is bowls and it is a sport and name calling is not sporting and has no place in sport.
A foyle player and friend of dannys.
PS only reason my name is not to post as other players i named may be offended and no offence is meant, yours in sport

    ReplyDelete
  118. well said and lets hope the big winner on the day is BOWLS

    ReplyDelete
  119. We are all getting a bit tired of this will he wont he lark, Danny Ward will play for nw against Foyle and why not, I know all about the history and have known Danny well for more years than I care to remember and count him amongst my friends in the game as I do with a lot of the players on the nw team so as the last person said, lets get the game played for the right reason, we both deserve our place in the final and who knows on the day what will happen, but I would say that if Danny for any reason does not play then win or loose Foyle would have to ask, what if.

    ReplyDelete
  120. bill well said, danny will play i beleive and i hope he does play.cant see danny letting people like lisa, ryan, lee, nishy and the supporters who gave danny great support on saturday all down. aganist dundalk skip called HAND on saturday it was the real danny ward.
colm curran is also a good friend of dannys who i bet danny will have a chat with about playing or not.
to me most important thing for danny is his old friend gerry barr.we all know danny is only man who gets the best out off gerry.danny will be there for gerry.
bill you have hit the nail on the head,i dont wana leave the final saying what if danny had skipped his rink.
lets get everyone to play for both teams and hope sport and bowls is the winner on the day.

    ReplyDelete
  121. great to see some people talking sense not like most idiots on here.there will be 47 other players playing that day.we are not going to make up the numbers,a foyle player
