    I see 3 of those skips are playing for northwest now.ward and irwin were both on international team that year.good victory for ward that day.was at game that day,ward rink were really good,pressure was on irwins rink.jim platt and edmin irwin both drove bowls over fender driving at heads.hope not so good next saturday for ward

    GREAT IDEA THIS FOYLE ZONE BLOG THING....GREAT TO HEAR AND SEE ALL THE OLD NAMES ARE STILL DOING THEIR THING...CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY DANNY ,COLM GERRY AND PETER ETC ARE NOW PLAYING FOR THE NORTH WEST????....I CAN GUESS THE REASON BUT I WOULD NOT LIKE TO OFFEND ANYONE!!!!I COULD BELIEVE MY EARS WHEN I WAS TOLD OF THIS ....GOOD LUCK TO ALL IN THE FINAL...BUT MY HEART HAS TO LAY WITH THE FOYLE ZONE AS I HAD A GREAT TIME AND LOTS OF FUN PLAYING IN ALL THOSE IMPORTANT GAMES IN THE 90'S AND 00'S...

    danny and co play in the league in north west for st finloughs and as they had not been playin zone bowls and were aproached to play for northwest
