We all know Danny is the finest Bowler Foyle has ever produced, with the exception of Peter "Crixus" Lynch, and we know he is the best Leader of any Zone Team, just ask the house of N-West (where there is no longer love for the ex-Foyle Brigade).
The news will come as a welcome relief to all of us Foyle die-hards, who have been waiting for the Big Man to see sense and return to the mother-zone. Althogh not able to play for Foyle next year, his shadow will see spirits soar and reaction from his presence and motivation; if the Gods of the Arena favour us, a meeting with Donegal and the traitor DRIFT WOOD... More positives are that both Gerry "Gannicus" Barr and Colm "Oenomaus" Curran will be in the same galley coming to our shores, and with Danny's legendary skills of persuasion hopes have been raised to increase stock of the Foyle Ludus.
